In an event that took place on 12th June 2023, the Principal Judge, Dr. Flavian Zeija, presided over the Kagango Magistrates Court Open Day intended to provide members of the public with an opportunity to learn about the judicial system and gain a better understanding of how the legal processes work. The court open day organized by the Judiciary was also intended to promote transparency and increase public trust in the justice system.
The Principal Judge was warmly welcomed by Lady Justice Joyce Kavuma, the Head of Mbarara High Court circuit, and HW Sarah Langa Siu, the Chief Registrar. Also present were HW Zulaika Nanteza, the Deputy Registrar of Mbarara, HW Toloko Simon, the Chief Magistrate of Bushenyi, HW Kyomugisha Evelyn, the Grade One Magistrate of Kagango, and several other esteemed stakeholders.
